Air Algerie will provide 1,575,793 seats during the 2004 summer season (27 June-25 September), the airline company's CEO, Tayeb Benouis told APS.
The French Civil Aviation Directorate (DGAC) approved on March 19th Air Algerie's program of schedule flights toward France, the destination drawing the national airline company's biggest traffic, Benouis noted.
Out of the 1,575,793 seats scheduled this summer, 980,460 will take place on the international network, say a decrease of 8.22% compared to 2003.
"Additional flights will be up 19.98% with 55,053 seats," Benouis conveyed.
Air Algerie's 2004 summer schedule has taken into account competition faced by French companies Air France and Aigle Azure.
In 2004, Air Algerie will rejoin France from Algiers, Oran, Constantine, Annaba, Batna, Tlemcen, Bejaia, Biskra toward Paris (Orly and Roissy-Charles de Gaulle), Marseille, Lyon, Toulouse, Bordeaux, Lille, Nice, Metz, Mulhouse and Montpelier.
