After the first two months of operation, Air Arabia, the United Arab Emirates (UAE)' economy airline, made its inaugural flight to Doha, Qatar. Flights to Doha will operate Monday through Wednesday as well as Friday and Saturday.
Air Arabia's inaugural flight to Qatar flew an official delegation, led by Sheikh Abdullah Al-Thani to Qatar International Airport, where passengers were met by dignitaries, press and officials.
Air Arabia is a Sharjah government-owned airline which is currently flying from the emirate to Bahrain daily, Beirut four days a week, Damascus three days a week, Kuwait three days a week and Muscat four days a week. Doha is the first in a line up of new destinations which Air Arabia will operate to in January, these include Alexandria and Assiut in Egypt; Isfahan, Shiraz, and Tehran in Iran; Aleppo in Syria and Colombo in Sri Lanka. — (menareport.com)
