In response to the booming property market in Abu Dhabi and subsequent high demand for sanitaryware, fittings and ceramics, Al Futtaim Engineering, which recently opened a redesigned TOTO showroom in Dubai, will also open another outlet in Abu Dhabi, measuring some 485 square meters.
The launch ceremony for the important showroom opening was marked by a traditional Japanese 'Kagamibiraki' ceremony, according to Khaleej Times, attended by Omar Al Futtaim, CEO of the Al Futtaim Group, Hiromichi Tabata, Director of the Board and Executive Officer, TOTO and Vishesh Bhatia, Group Director (Electronics and Engineering), Al-Futtaim Group.
“This new showroom will be a masterpiece and is one of the best TOTO showrooms in the world,” said Vishesh Bhatia.
“Designed entirely to reflect the TOTO concept, the new showroom will strengthen our position among retail clients and reinforce Al-Futtaim Engineering's presence in the project business with our exclusive range of high-end TOTO sanitarywares and fittings,” he added.
The demand for sanitaryware is expected to continue at is heightened pace for at least the next five years in the UAE according to industry estimates.
Al Futtaim Engineering's Building Products Division has among its many clients Dubai International Airport (Concourse 2 and Terminal 3), Emirates Towers (Office Building), Dubai Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Four Seasons Hotel, Doha, Qatar and Bahrain Financial Harbour.
Al Futtaim Engineering is currently also supplying sanitaryware to the whole of Dubai Mall, the biggest mall in the world, Harbour Plaza, InterContinental Hotel and Crowne Plaza Hotel at Dubai Festival City among others.
