Algerian-Canadian cooperation in water resources and its development prospects were reviewed Saturday in the course of a meeting between Water Resources Minister, Abdelmalek Sellal, and Canadian ambassador to Algeria, Robert Peck.
On this occasion, the Canadian ambassador expressed the readiness of Canadian enterprises to further contribute to the development of Algeria's hydraulic sector as part of the participation in the realisation of water desalination plants, transfer and purification, the Ministry indicated in its communiqué, cited by APS.
At the end of the meeting, the two parts agreed on the dire need to intensify actions that are meant to foster cooperation with regards to training through the Canadian Agency for Cooperation, the same source added. (menareport.com)
