Anti-virus company McAfee projects 26% increase in revenue in the Middle East

McAfee, a division of computer security provider Network Associates (NAI) has projected a 26 percent growth in revenue this year over the last financial year in the Middle East.  

 

The company has recently enhanced its offering of security tools with the launch of a brand new product range, covering almost every aspect of threat detection and network security. The new comprehensive range includes anti-virus, anti-spam, firewall and privacy protection for home consumers. 

 

The new product range features the McAfee Internet Security Suite 6.0, an integrated tool that destroys viruses, outwits hackers, safeguards data, blocks unwanted email and ads, protects files and hard drives and places the user in total control of the PC. McAfee Internet Security includes the latest versions of McAfee’s VirusScan Home edition, Personal Firewall Plus, SpamKiller, and offers a host of additional benefits, including McAfee Privacy Service and Parental Controls. 

 

Network Associates, in coordination with Aptec Gulf, will also work on launching a marketing campaign to educate consumers on security products and increase awareness about security on their PCs.
