Arab airliners achieved a $140 million surplus in 2001

The Secretary General of the Arab Aviation Association, Abdul-Wahhab Tufaha, revealed that Arabian airliners achieved a $140 million surplus earning from their joint ventures, including joint fuel purchase projects, collective automatic ticket reservation projects and collective ground service projects. The Association’s General Assembly will meet in Beirut from May 6-8 to draft new strategies for the coming years.
