The Arab Economic Unity Council is planning to set up an Arab organization to facilitate information and telecommunication security, valued at 24.4 million Saudi Riyals ($6.5 million) in capital, reported Al-Watan . The Secretary General of the Council, Ahmed Jweily, stated that the organization would transform the Arab information technology community from a consuming to a producing sector. It will help the sector to produce and sell information and telecommunication protection and security systems.
