ARAMEX International Limited, the international express and freight forwarding logistics company, has strengthened its operations in Jordan with a new logistics facility at Queen Alia International Airport Free Zone, in Amman. The one million dollar logistics center, the first of its type in Jordan, measures 2,000 square meters.

The new center will work together with the existing Aramex logistics facilities in the Jebel Ali Free Zone in the United Arab Emirates (UAE), the Bahrain Free Zone and the Aqaba Free Zone, in the south of Jordan, to further improve the supply chain serving customers across the region.

“The future of ARAMEX lies in our ability to continually expand the capabilities of our operations across the region,” said President and CEO of ARAMEX International Fadi Ghandour. “These centers are strategically located and technologically connected, boosting cost effectiveness for our clients.”

The logistics center at the Queen Alia International Airport Free Zone is equipped with the latest EXE logistics management technology designed to maximize execution, warehousing, and distribution systems. The new facility boasts additional office space and offers comprehensive services including inventory management, order fulfillment, defective item returns, packaging, quality control and even gift-wrapping.

ARAMEX International is a provider of express package delivery, freight forwarding, logistics and other transportation services primarily to, from and within the Middle East and the Indian Sub-Continent. The ARAMEX global network spans 250 countries. — (menareport.com)
