Fouad Abdul-Samad Al-Falah has been appointed to the Arab Insurance Group (ARIG) Board of Directors.

Al-Falah, a Kuwaiti national, is Assistant Professor of Public Administration at Kuwait University's College of Commerce, Economics and Political Science where he has taught for more than 27 years.

“We are pleased to have Dr. Al-Falah as our newest member of the board,” said ARIG Chairman Nasser Mohammed Al-Nowais. “He brings with him financial expertise that will undoubtedly be an asset to the Group.”

ARIG is one of the largest Arab-owned insurance and reinsurance companies in the Arab world. In addition to the core reinsurance operations undertaken from its headquarters in Bahrain and branch office in Tunisia, the group operates insurance subsidiaries in Morocco, Egypt and Jordan.
