Bahraini citizens have been raging over an ad that was published in one of their newspapers. The ad called for participation in a contest where the winner will get an 'Ethiopian housemaid' as the prize.
The cruel and unethical ad was published for a housemaid recruitment agency called Al Hazeem Manpower Agency, who is now being investigated by authorities in Bahrain, according to The Independent.

The rage of the Bahraini citizens was met with a swift reaction by the authorities, as they acted immediately to penalize the agency and suspended its license.
Bahraini authorities also filed a case of human trafficking against the agency’s owner and management. “Immediate measures were taken, including suspending the license of the concerned employment agency,” stated Bahrain’s Labour Market Regulatory Authority (LMRA).
