A shanty town in Riffa, dubbed as "Lebanon," will be bulldozed by the end of the year, it was announced Sunday, according to GDN. The area will then be levelled, so it can be developed for other purposes, said Southern Municipal Council technical committee chairman Adel Al Moraisi.
About 20 to 25 shacks in the area, located in the Hunainiya Valley, between the two Riffas, will be knocked down to make way for investors wishing to build there.
