The Bahraini Ministry of Commerce Monday signed an agremeent with Microsoft, to start implementing the e-Investor project solution in the Kingdom of Bahrain. The e-investor solution will be executed by Bahrain’s largest national auditing and management consulting firm, BDO Jawad Habib using Microsoft technologies.
“We are pleased to be working with Microsoft on implementing the e-Investor solution. Our partnership with Microsoft has provided us with the technical knowledge required for applying the best solution for the project. By implementing the e-Investor solution, the Kingdom of Bahrain has now put itself on the technology road map of the region and the world.” Ali Saleh Al Saleh, Minister of Commerce.
“Microsoft has a solid, long standing relationship with the Kingdom of Bahrain. Through the e-Investor initiative, we have strengthened our commitment to the Kingdom, it’s government and people,” said Ali Faramawy, vice president for Microsoft Middle East and Africa.
The e-Investor project was initiated with a vision to simplify business processes for investors into the Kingdom of Bahrain. Complementing the one-stop-shop for investments in the Kingdom, Bahrain Investment Center, e-Investor integrates all different bodies of the Government of Bahrain. The project aims at encouraging higher investments into the Kingdom.
