The BD6-million phase 5 of Shaikh Khalifa bin Salman Highway leading to the Bahrain International Circuit in Sakhir has been launched. According to Bahrain Tribune, the highway has already been linked to roundabout no. 6 in Hamad Town. The plans include the construction of 7.5km dual carriageway to facilitate access to the BIC.
