Bahrain needs some 1,400 professionals in next four years to narrow the ‘skills gap’ in financial services industry (FSI), the Chairman of the board of trustees, Human Resource Development Fund (HRDF), Murad Ali Murad, told a Press conference on Saturday.
The Fund was created by the Prime Minister, Shaikh Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa, few months back, the Bahrain Tribune reported.
The study carried out by Ernst & Young, showed significant skill gaps in the banking, finance and other segments of FSI and the HRDF has unveiled a comprehensive plan to train Bahrainis by providing financial aid in local as well as international institutions of repute.
