Bahrain's national housing rehabilitation program commenced full-scale Tuesday. According to Bahrain Tribune, the demolition of old houses has started in the Muharraq and Capital governorates, followed by the Central and Northern governorates Wednesday.
The Assistant Undersecretary for Housing Affairs at the Ministry of Works and Housing, Dr Nabil Abulfatih, gave the go- ahead to the demolition contractors in a ceremony at one of the sites.
