Banque Du Liban Et D’outre Mer Sal reports $80 million profits in 2001

Banque Du Liban et D’Outre-Mer Sal, one of the largest commercial banks in Lebanon, reported total profits of $80 million in 2001 compared with $78.5 million in the previous year of 2000. As a result, earnings per share grew from $4.24 to $4.34 during the same period in spite of difficult economic conditions, reported Assafir . The bank’s total asset value hit $6.5 billion by the end of 2001, a 9.02 percent rise compared with 2000. — (menareport.com)
