Bond Communications launches first GPRS enabled laptop

Bond Communications, Solutions integrating Telecommunications, Information Technology, Security and Intelligent Building Management System provider, recently announced the launch of the world’s first General Package Radio Service (GPRS) laptop computer, the Waynmakan.  

 

The Waynmakan Intel entails at 8,500 Emirati dirhams ($2,314) and on purchase the user will receive three months free internet download and access through Etisalat. Whilst presently only available directly from Bond Communications, the company is currently in talks with various distributors.  

 

Launched by Bond Communications, the Waynmakan - meaning anywhere in Arabic - provides the user with a true mobile wireless office package offering GSM connectivity with built-in mobile phone, fax, video, email, internet and SMS facilities, and in effect making it a profit center in it’s own right.  

 

Being totally wireless, and as easy to set up as a mobile telephone, the Waynmakan has the added benefits of requiring zero time for installation as well as zero business disturbance time to wherever the laptop is installed, be it an office, hotel or bank. With software to make it completely Arabized, the laptop is fully adaptable for every user in any working environment.
