Qatar Rail has signed an agreement with Careem Qatar to offer special discounts to metro passengers who book a taxi to travel from and to Doha Metro stations.
The agreement was signed by Qatar Rail Managing Director and CEO Abdulla Abdulaziz al Subaie and GCC Careem General Manager Khaled Nuseibeh in Doha, the rail company said in a statement on Sunday.
The agreement comes as a part of Qatar Rail's first and last mile strategy, through which the company aims to provide comprehensive solutions to complete the full transportation cycle for the metro users.
The deal also boosts metro ridership, paving the way to achieve the company's vision to be the most-favoured mode of transport in Qatar.
