ALBAWABA – ChatGPT, the generative artificial intelligence (AI) chatbot developed by OpenAI and launched in 2022, launched a new feature that can now browse the internet for its users. This new feature is only available for paid users and subscriptions.
ChatGPT new internet browsing feature: SearchGPT
The artificial intelligence (AI) chatbot introduced an exciting new feature to its already impressive capabilities. In addition to writing code, poems, and content, users can now browse the internet directly through ChatGPT itself. This new feature is currently available only to paid subscribers.
The new feature provides users with direct access to recent details and information as it allows the chatbot to receive information directly from the web. The new 'SearchGPT' will enable users to access information from trusted online sources without leaving the chatbot.

OpenAI stated in a blog post: “All ChatGPT Plus and Team users, as well as SearchGPT waitlist users, will have access today. Enterprise and Edu users will get access in the next few weeks. We’ll roll out to all Free users over the coming months.”
The SearchGPT feature is currently available exclusively for ChatGPT Plus and Team members. OpenAI plans to make it available for all users for free in the future.
Users can enter any question in the web search function available on ChatGPT, and the search will be initiated manually. ChatGPT will provide answers along with the sources referenced from the web, ensuring credibility and documentation for users who may need it.
