The Chrysler International Corporation, the American partner of the Daimler Chrysler company, has recently penetrated into the Syrian markets, reported Al-Watan newspaper. The company has introduced Chrysler-Dodge Jeep vehicles for the first time in Syria. The economic reforms recently undertaken by the Syrian government permit free car import from abroad.
The deputy director of the Chrysler Company, David Glorious, said that he was contacted many automobile agents in Syria, who are very interested in marketing Chrysler vehicles throughout the country. Glorious expects to sell 200 Chrysler cars in Syria next year. ¯ (Albawaba-MEBG)
