Software Solutions provider Comptel Corporation and,Morocco's sole Terrestial Trunked Radio (TETRA) license holder Moratel have signed an agreement for the delivery of the Comptel TETRA solution.
Moratel offers voice and data communication services for public safety authorities as well as for utility and transportation companies. Comptel's solution will be used for managing their subscribers in the TETRA network. The value of the agreement has not been published.
Comptel's TETRA solution comprises of user subscriber management, user provisioning and service activation in the network as well as mediation for usage data collection and processing for billing. Comptel TETRA solution is based on Comptel software products designed for operating in TETRA networks worldwide.
Moratel is a private operator in Morocco, which is willing to provide TETRA services to professional users such as utilities, safety and logistics. Moratel will implement TETRA in the Moroccan cities of Casablanca and Rabat, targeting in the future a nationwide network. — (menareport.com)
