Electronic business solutions provider AREGON has teamed up with PwC Management Consulting Services in the Middle East to provide electronic procurement and supply chain management services to Consolidated Contractors Company (CCC), a regional engineering and construction company.
The CCC project is the first in a series of initiatives to be undertaken by the Aregon/PwC Consulting alliance, designed to facilitate cross border trade and promote commercial efficiency and growth, according to a company press release.
The CCC initiative is centered on two pilot projects in the upstream oil and gas sector, executed in three phases, one in Haradh, Saudi Arabia and the other in Ras Laffan, Qatar. CCC decided to deploy an electronic procurement solution in a bid to cut costs and improve the efficiency of in its purchasing process.
Aregon is a business-to-business (B2B) digital marketplace serving the Middle East, North Africa and Indian Subcontinent.
