Consortium to set up paper factory in Morocco

Sources at the Moroccan industry and commerce ministry have revealed that a Canadian-American consortium, chaired by the Canadian SNC Lavalin Company, is planning to invest $100 million toward building a paper-manufacturing factory in Morocco.  

 

According to Al-Hayat newspaper, the same sources reported that the related governmental authorities had approved the project, which will be built near the border region of Wajdah.  

 

The Government of Morocco, which approved the project, also committed to the providing of the necessary infrastructure and transportation facilities required for the site. ¯ (Albawaba-MEBG)
