Construction costs of Burj Dubai development could go up to Dh20 billion, of which about Dh10 billion worth of contracts have been awarded so far, according to a senior official. "We have awarded about 30 construction packages, valued at Dh10 billion, which include the most important components, Burj Dubai and Dubai Mall," Fred Durie, Emaar Properties' senior director for development projects, was quoted as saying by Gulf News.
