The Iraqi Province of Babil obtained licenses worth $30 million for the accomplishment of several construction projects, reported the Iraqi newspaper Al-Sabah. Among these projects are 40 water reservoirs with a total capacity of 200 cubic meters, roads paving in 15 neighborhoods and the establishment of two parks in Hilla. Other projects are related to reconstruction of the sewage system in the province, which had been established over 50 years ago, and covers at present just 10% of the province's needs. In addition, 39 schools and 6 kinder gardens will be constructed, as well as several medical projects, and telecommunication centers. The construction campaign is expected to start within the next few weeks.
