Cyprus Airways took delivery this week of its first Airbus 319 in Hamburg, Germany. Together with a second A319 on order, this aircraft will join the Larnaca-based carrier’s in-service fleet of six A320s.

Seating 126 passengers in a two-class configuration, Cyprus Airways’ A319 will be operated on the airline's growing network in Europe and the Middle East, alongside the A320. The A319 is powered by V2500-A5 engines from International Aero Engines, which also powers the airline’s A320 fleet.

Airbus is a global company with design and manufacturing facilities in France, Germany, the United Kingdom (UK), and Spain, as well as subsidiaries in the United States, China and Japan. — (menareport.com)
