Cyprus Airways has been appointed as the official carrier for Great Britain (GB)’s Olympic team for the Athens 2004 Olympic Games. Cyprus Airways will now have exclusive marketing rights, within its category, throughout the UK to promote its involvement with Team GB and the British Olympic movement.
The sponsorship package includes special facilities and attractive rates for all Team GB athletes and officials to the British Olympic Association’s (BOA) preparation camp in Cyprus plus travel on to the Olympic Games in Athens. The airline is also committed to assisting athletes and officials traveling to the camp in Cyprus for individual sports training camps in the run up to the games. — (menareport.com)
