Jebel Ali's Danube Building Materials has signed a two million Emirati dirham ($544,506) deal with Dubai the construction major ETA for the supply of timber for the latter's Springs Project.

The contract calls for steady supply of timber in the next four months. Danube procures timber in bulk, kiln dries it before supplying it to ETA. The kiln drying process removes the moisture from the timber, is being done at Danube's facility in Jebel Ali.

Apart from the kiln drying equipment, Danube's other facilities in their Jebel Ali plant include a Melamine MDF plant, kitchen shutter manufacturing, veneer pressing, UV lacquer coating on wood and veneer, CNC routing and manufacturing of other furniture components. — (menareport.com)
