Datastrip, a leading international provider of identity verification solutions, today announced the opening of a new regional sales office in United Arab Emirates.  The new office joins Datastrip Limited's headquarters in the UK in serving customers around the world.

The expansion reflects rising demand for Datastrip's Smartcard DSVII mobile verification terminals, a family of highly specialized handheld computers that help organisations of all kinds increase security by enabling mobile biometric or non-biometric identity checks in locations that cannot accommodate stationary readers.

"Our United Arab Emirates office gives us additional resources to respond to the global demand for improved identity screening," said Steve Blackmore, Datastrip Chief Executive Officer.  "With the ongoing growth in our customer base around the world, we are now better equipped to help companies, government agencies and other organisations use the mobile and biometric abilities of our DSVII terminals to enhance their security systems."

Datastrip's new UAE office is located in the Free Trade Zone at Ras Al Khaimah and will operate under the name Datastrip Limited (RAKFTZ) Branch.
