While fossil fuels such as oil and coal will continue to dominate the global energy mix until 2030, the demand for natural gas will rise more strongly than for any other fossil fuel. The need to develop cost-effective drilling technologies that do not disturb the surface environment and the increased share of gas in the world energy demand will be part of the deliberations at the Oil & Gas Show (OGS 2003), the leading oil and gas show in the Middle East scheduled to be held from October 12-15, 2003, at the Airport Expo Dubai.
