Diamond Investments has awarded Stromeck with a comprehensive contract for the deep foundations, piling and shoring phases of all six of its buildings in the Marina Diamond series.
Following the direct success of Stromeck’s work on the first two towers in the Marina Diamond family, Diamond Investments has rewarded the company with responsibility for the deep foundations, piling and shoring works for its remaining four buildings in the Dubai Marina. This phase in the construction process takes around two months to complete. With this initial work beginning on Marina Diamond Three and Four in June and July, and continuing on to buildings Five and Six in August and September, the projects are progressing at a steady rate to meet their completion schedules.
After signing the deal earlier this week Faris Saeed, General Manager for Diamond Investments commented, “In recognition of Stromeck’s successful involvement in the first two towers we selected the firm, in preference to its major competitors, to complete the initial construction phases of the entire Marina Diamond family. With the six Marina Diamond projects currently under various stages of planning or construction, Diamond Investments is creating 1300 new units in the Dubai Marina. The apartments have met with exceptional market response and availability is now limited to the most recently launched tower, Marina Diamond Six. Residents of this building will be able to join the rest of the Marina Diamond family as they are able to move in upon completion at the end of August 2007. Home ownership of apartments in the Marina Diamond series entitles owners to a residency permit for non-UAE nationals.
