Donor countries finance feasibility studies for projects along the Nile

The United Kingdom, the United States, Germany and Finland agreed to finance the necessary feasibility studies for launching projects in various states situated along the Nile River, reported Al-Hayat . The Egyptian Minister of Water Resources and Irrigation, Mahmoud Abu Zeid, said that the countries mentioned above agreed to provide $160 million to finance feasibility studies for a number of joint projects. The total costs of these studies are estimated at $220 million. The projects mainly deal with electricity, water, and fish resource development. — (menareport.com)
