Intel Corporation awarded the Dubai-based Mindware, a regional Information Technology (IT) services provider, special recognition for having achieved the best sales of motherboards in Emerging Markets for 2001, according to a company press release.

“This award is especially encouraging as our local market is highly competitive. The Middle East region has a growth rate equal to more than double that of the US and Europe. We have been aggressive with our sales and marketing efforts,” stated Tim Martin, managing director of Mindware FZ LLC.

Mindware’s partnership with Intel dates back to 1995 and includes distribution of servers, CPU’s, networking and motherboards. Dubai Internet City (DIC) is home to Mindware’s regional head office and distribution hub that extends to over 4,500 resellers in 17 countries in the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC), the Levant and North Africa.
