Land transactions exceeded AED 1.88 billion in November 2005. There were a total of 137 cash sales during the month and these were worth AED 927.44 millions, 77 mortgage transactions worth AED 868.95 millions and 18 donations of land and property worth AED 91.04 millions.
The 137 transactions registered as sales by Land Department during the month of November were spread across 56 districts in Dubai. The total area sold was 2.81 million sq. ft. There were 128 transactions involving the sale of 1.66 million sq. ft of open spaces for a total of AED 1.02 billions. There were 122 transactions involving the sale of 1.14 million sq. ft of build, or developed, land.
