Dubailand, which is inclined to attract Dh35 billion investment, instead of the originally expected Dh20 billion by 2010, will be a major contributor towards achieving the target of 15 million tourist arrivals in Dubai by that year.
Salem bin Dasmal, CEO of Dubailand, while addressing the members of the Professionals Wing of Pakistan Association Dubai on Wednesday said that projects valued at Dh20 billion had already been contracted. In his presentation, cited by Khaleej Times, he dealt with Dubai as trade and tourism hub, Dubailand's concept and strategy, its five worlds and the success story, its operational phases, and infrastructure development.
