Ducab, the leading manufacturer of high quality power cables in UAE, has stepped up its Emiratisation drive to keep up with its social commitment towards development of local youth and national workforce. The series of initiatives undertaken to accomplish this objective has led to a significant increase in the number of nationals joining the company over the past few years.

Ducab's Emiratisation drive is being accelerated through its continuous participation in national recruitment drives, career fairs, career exhibitions and all such initiatives by the local bodies which bridge the gap between the employers and the national jobseekers. Apart from this, Ducab's tie-up with educational institutions and national employment agencies also assist in bringing the career aspiring national graduates to the Ducab fold.

"There has been a remarkable increase in the number of nationals working in the company over the last six years. Currently, the national workforce represent 25 % in the managerial cadre and 33% in the executive management

cadre," said Colin Paskins, Managing Director, Ducab.
