E-Vision has cut the cost of installation and subscription to their digital cable television service for households with more than one television, translating to a potential saving of nearly 600 Emirati Dirhams per month for homes with three TV sets, stated a press release. E-Vision is currently available in most parts of Abu Dhabi and Dubai and selected areas of Sharjah.
For only Dh 25 per month, E-Vision customers are offered an additional set-top box that will allow them to receive all the channels they currently subscribe to, without paying additional subscription charges. The cost of installing each additional socket and set-top box has been reduced from Dh 250 to Dh 150.
The E-Vision basic package of nearly 70 channels, including movies, sports, news and entertainment, is offered for Dh 50 per month. An interactive games channel, offering a choice of five games 24 hours a day, is available free of charge to all subscribers, with further interactive services, such as Pay per View and an Electronic Program Guide planned for the near future. — (menareport.com)
