Egypt has fulfilled its export quotas of potatoes and frozen vegetables to the European Union (EU) since August 31 last year, an official Egyptian report said.
The monthly report by the Minister of Foreign Trade and Industry said that 82.6 % of the garlic export quota - 2,478 tons - was met in June 2003.
"As for dried vegetables, the 48.14 %, say 7,700 tons, of the quota was met," the report said, adding that 17.2 % of the cucumber export quota had been shipped to the EU. (menareport.com)
