Egypt receives $959 in US aid after September 11 attacks

The Director of the US Agency for International Development (USAID), Peirson WilLard, announced that Egypt will receive $959 million in aid following the September 11 attacks on the United States, reported Al-Hayat. The American official added that $579 million of the aid has already been awarded to the Egyptian government, while the remaining $380 million will be transferred in the near future.
