Egypt Air will resume flights to Sanaa and Aden, Yemen as of the first week of April, reported Al-Hayat . Egypt Air will operate two weekly flights to Sanaa on Fridays and Mondays, in addition to one flight to Aden on Tuesdays.

Following recent terror attacks on the United States in September, Egypt's national carrier announced it was canceling all flight routes headed to Pakistan and Yemen, until further notice. The Egyptian Ambassador to Yemen, Khaled Al-Koumy, stated that flights were cancelled because of increasing international insurance burdens following the attacks

EgyptAir operates more than 400 flights weekly to various national and international destinations. The company lost one Boeing jet last year when it crashed off the eastern coast of the United States en route to Egypt. — (menareport.com)
