The Egyptian Minister of Telecommunication and Information, Ahmed Nadheef, revealed a governmental plan to accelerate the inflow of investments into the local telecommunication sector, which is considered one of the most revenue generating sectors in the country, reported Al-Watan . The plan aims to draw foreign currency into the Egyptian telecommunication sector, and raise its profits by 17 to 25 percent per annum.
