Egypt’s Minister of Transportation Ibrahim Al-Demeiry recently met with officials from the ministry to discuss a number of infrastructure and development projects for June 2001, reported Al-Ahram. Participants also discussed the ministry’s strategies for 2002-2007. Future projects require up to 146 billion Egyptian Pounds ($32 billion) in investments over the next 30 years. — (menareport.com)
