An agreement was recently signed between the European Investment Bank (EIB) and the Cairo Metro Authority, reported Al-Hayat . The Bank agreed to lend 50 million euros ($58 million) to finance the 2.6-kilometer long extension of the Cairo Metro system from Um Al-Masriyeen to Al-Muneib. — (menareport.com)
