Emaar largest foreign investor in Syria

Dr Riyadh Naasan Agha, Syrian Ambassador to the UAE said Emaar has become the largest foreign investor in Syria by launching a $3.4 billion housing and commercial project in Damascus called 8-Gate. According to him, two other companies IGO and Tiger are investing $800 million in a shopping mall and commercial centre besides other developments, while Majid Al Futtiam is coming up with $400 million tourism complex, Khaleej Times reported.
