Dubai shares jumped about six per cent Tuesday. Emaar surged 7.1 per cent to Dh40.75 after it said investors holding its stock on July 21 would be entitled to purchase one additional share for every share they hold.
Some 42 million Emaar shares worth Dh1.7 billion were traded, making up 82 per cent of the total value of shares traded on the Dubai stock exchange.
