Emaar shares were suspended from 10.06 AM to 10.16 AM on the Dubai Financial Market.
The suspension occurred after a letter was received from Emaar addressed to the Emirates Securities & Commodities Authority at 10:03 AM, regarding a news item in the media, according to Khaleej Times.
Trading was suspended in accordance with DFM's transparency and disclosure procedures to ensure fair-trading practices.
