Information storage provider EMC has appointed Riyadh-based National Technology Company (NTC) as its partner and value-added reseller.

This alliance, EMC senior officials said, would enhance its opportunities to widen its market reach in Saudi Arabia, with capable “on-the-ground” assistance from its new partner NTC. At the same time, NTC’s extensive customer base will benefit from the company’s expertise in deploying the latest EMC hardware, software, and networking storage solutions.

With the steady increase of storage requirements in Saudi Arabia, the EMC-NTC partnership is expected to reap demonstrable benefits by delivering positive market share figures.

As volumes of corporate data increase across the Middle East, regional organizations are currently facing many challenges in the management of their information. These difficulties range from the efficient organization of e-mail systems, to devising bulletproof back-up procedures that ensure the safety and recovery of all critical information in the event of unplanned downtime.

In order to enhance its service levels to customers in the Kingdom, NTC is investing in an extensive training scheme for its technical team on the entire EMC product range. The program ensures that all NTC staff members have the necessary level of expertise to offer world-class storage consultancy services. — (menareport.com)
