Information storage systems, software, networks and services provider EMC is enhancing its market reach across the Middle East with the appointment of StorIT as its first-ever volume distribution partner in the region.
The partnership will see StorIT distribute EMC’s CLARiiON range to its resellers across the Middle East to meet the growing needs of ‘emerging’ or small- and medium-size enterprises. As part of the deal, StorIT, a storage-focused regional distributor, will provide EMC’s CLARiiON CX200, CLARiiON CX400, and CLARiiON CX600 storage systems to its network of focused resellers across nine countries in the Middle East.
The partnership agreement opens the doors for EMC to take its share of a multi-million dollar regional mid-market that is being driven by banks, government departments, and trading groups. StorIT is also establishing a regional support model for its reseller network that combines expert field assistance with EMC’s ‘phone home’ remote hardware monitoring and support capabilities.
StorIT Distribution is a Middle East digital storage infrastructure specialist company with a reseller network of more than 500 value added resellers and systems integrators across the Middle East, North and East Africa and the Indian sub-continent. StorIT’s market-reach spans the United Arab Emirates (UAE), Saudi Arabia, Oman, Qatar, Bahrain, Kuwait, Jordan, Lebanon, Cyprus, Egypt, Morocco, Kenya, Mauritius, India and the CIS countries. — (menareport.com)
