The National Corporation for Tourism and Hotels (NCTH) recently invested 22 million Dirhams (six million dollars) in its Inter-Continental Al Ain property in the United Arab Emirates (UAE), reported a press release.
The investment involved various phases, which incorporated the building of 22 new luxurious chalets, the opening of Luce, a trendy Italian Restaurant and constructing a landscaped pool area.
The recent developments are set to meet the different target segments of Inter-Continental Al Ain. “ Luce will attract Al Ain's jet setters whereas the chalets are dedicated to families coming from the neighboring Emirates to spend the weekend, as well as tourists from abroad,” said Director of Sales and Marketing of Inter- Continental Al Ain, Mohamed Soussan.
The newly built Inter-Continental Village is a Spanish style complex of Chalets. The complex is furnished with five-star equipment and facilities and has a separate check-in and check-out service. The new landscaped pool area is distinguishably designed with waterfalls, in-pool bar, children's pool and an open air Jacuzzi. The hotel also has its own Olympic sized swimming pool.
