Etisalat is currently putting the finishing touches to the huge expansion of its Data Center in Abu Dhabi and Dubai which will offer organizations of all sizes a range of options for managing their IT needs using the very latest technology. The facility will also enable Etisalat to deploy their future IP based services in the mobile and fixed network, according to a company press release.
The newly expanded facility will offer organizations around the region the opportunity to have all or part of their IT infrastructure managed within the Data Center. The services offered include technical operations outsourcing, co-location, dedicated server hosting and managed security services.
Etisalat’s goal was to migrate its services to an IP based infrastructure. This will give a leading edge to its business units Emirates Internet & Multimedia (EIM) and Comtrust and enable them to provide shared and dedicated hosting, co-location and managed security services to existing and new clients. — (menareport.com)
